New undergraduate students in the School of Arts & Sciences, the Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, and Simon Business School are arriving on campus on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25. This will affect some on-campus traffic flow and parking. Increased traffic and parking volume are expected in Zone 3 South and along Intercampus Lot, including Zone 1 South, Zone 2 South, Zone 2 North, and Commuter Lot. These areas will remain open, but employees who park there should allow extra travel time. Valentine Lot will be used for the move-in process. Permit holders who regularly park there should use available spaces in the front row closest to Valentine Tower.
Employees who park in Lot 1 must use either the main lot exit or the south exit, as the rear exits from Lot 1 to Intercampus Drive will be closed both days.
Parking impacts may extend into Wednesday, August 26, as parent and family orientation events continue. Employees should use regular overflow parking as needed that day.
