The University is continuing repair work on its underground utility tunnels, the nearly century old network beneath the River Campus. While these repairs continue throughout the fall, the pedestrian tunnels above will need to close to ensure safety.
As a result, the pedestrian tunnels connecting Eastman Quad, Hoyt Hall, Bausch & Lomb Hall, and Dewey Hall will be closed until later in the semester. The closure includes the stretch of wall students traditionally use for artwork, commentary, and club event promotion. The area will be closed during Meliora Weekend.
