Eligibility

The University offers a monthly payment plan option for matriculated students which consists of monthly payments for each semester. A $25 administrative fee will be charged to your student account each semester when this plan is chosen. Payment plans are not available to non-matriculated students.

Signing up

Matriculated students may enroll in a payment plan in UR Student after their charges have been assessed for a semester. You must elect the monthly payment option at the start of every semester.

Only students have access to sign up for the payment plan in UR Student. The sign up option is not available through the third-party login, although a third party can make payments on the plan once it is established.

Sign in to UR Student
Select “Finances”
Select “Sign Up for a Payment Plan”
UR Student will then lead the student through the simple process of signing up.

Payment due dates

Undergraduate matriculated students

FALL SEMESTER: The payment due dates are August 10, September 10, October 10, and November 10.

SPRING SEMESTER: The payment due dates are December 10, January 10, February 10, and March 10.

Graduate matriculated students

FALL SEMESTER: The payment due dates are September 10, October 10, and November 10.

SPRING SEMESTER: The payment due dates are February 10, March 10, and April 10.

Note: The number of installments in the payment plan depends on when the student completes the payment plan sign up process in UR Student. If any of the payment due dates have passed when the student signs up, the balance due will be divided by the remaining number of installments. Payment plan sign up is only available when two or more future installments remain.

Making payments

Signing up for a payment plan does NOT create an automatic payment from a bank or payment card. Each installment payment must be initiated by the student or an authorized third party before each due date.
