TripShot app features
Use the TripShot app to track University shuttles in real time and view route information. With the app, you can:
- Track shuttle locations in real time
- View routes, schedules, and estimated arrival times
- Set alerts and favorite frequently used stops
- Access all shuttle information in one place
- Request a Safe Ride directly through the app (students only)
Download and set up TripShot
- Download the TripShot app for Apple iOS or Android
- Select Choose Public System
- Select University of Rochester Shuttle
- Track shuttles, view routes and schedules, and set up notifications
Track shuttles and view routes
From the bottom menu, there are two ways to find your route and get travel information:
- Select Trip Planner to see travel options from your current location to your destination.
- Select Routes to view all available shuttle routes.
- Tap a route to view stops and live shuttle locations on the map.
- Use the drop-down icons to view additional stop times, then swipe through the list to find your departure time.
- Selecting a stop time updates all times shown for that route. When your selected time appears in the purple box, you can set notifications or monitor estimated arrival times.
Set up notifications
- Subscribe to receive push notifications for your shuttle:
- On your route map, swipe up from the bottom to reveal trip details.
- Choose a departure time and tap the alarm icon.
- Edit your notification settings and select Save.
