These requirements support long-term asset performance, maintainability, operational reliability, life safety, sustainability, and institutional stewardship across buildings and sites owned, occupied, or operated by the University.
Published requirements apply to all parties engaged in planning, designing, constructing, commissioning, or modifying University facilities. Compliance is required. Deviations must be formally approved through the Design Standard Variance Request (DSVR) process prior to implementation.
