Pre-qualified construction contractors

The consultants are prequalified for work within the division under which they are listed on the prequalified consultants list or as otherwise determined by University Facilities and Services. Only prequalified consultants are eligible to bid and to perform work.

Consultants also need to apply for Purchasing approval through the Purchasing website.

Work category (WC) denotes for what type of projects and for which campuses the consultant has been prequalified.

Work category

1. Labs (All lab types: wet, clean rooms, dry, etc.)
2. Data Centers
3. Medical Article 28 (Includes all types of Pharmacies)
4. Medical Non-Article 28
5. Vivarium
6. General Construction (i.e. Offices, Classrooms, Athletic spaces, Libraries, etc.)

WBE/MBE certification

WBE/MBE designates a consultant that has attained a municipality or state level “Women Business Enterprise” (WBE) or “Minority Business Enterprise” (MBE) status or certification.

The following consultants have been prequalified for work at the University of Rochester as of 08/06/2026.

We recognize that this is not an exhaustive list.  If there are vendors you have previously worked with who are not included, it does not necessarily mean they are ineligible to work on projects. Please reach out to your University of Rochester contact to discuss their potential use on a project-by-project basis.  From there, we will guide you through the appropriate channels to complete the formal onboarding process.
